Meet our talent

Our story is one that twists and turns all over the place! Firebug media was started due to a photography hobby that expanded and grew into much more of an entire media company. We had the ambition to open our first studio this year and very luckily came across an amazing space in Hawick on silver street. During our First viewing we met the very lovely and talented previous tenant who introduced us to the vast artistic space that existed in Hawick, so instead of remove that we decided to embrace it and so Firebugs Shop was born! We want art to be accessible and for everyone to have a platform. For artists the massive interconnect world we live in means they have to be; social media experts, content creators, experts in web design or have unlimited funds to pay someone to do it which is unfair and favours those with unlimited time and funds. We aim to remove those boundaries and offer people truly handmade and  human designed creations and art and create a community that supports and lifts each other.
